Neons & Neutrals bundles online on Friday, March 10th!
This week, we are releasing more bundles for designs from Neons & Neutrals! You will find all these bundles online on Friday March 10th at 4pm Paris time / 10am Eastern time. You can shop all these special yarns and bundles in the Neons & Neutrals collection!
First up is Geweef, the beautiful shawl created by Karen Cronje. Karen is not only an amazing knitwear designer, but also is the talented yarn dyer behind Miss La Motte yarns. We have prepared for you bundles for the two versions of Geweef that are shown in the book, the Original Light in La Bien Aimée, and the Original Dark in Miss La Motte. We also have a few other versions in La Bien Aimée, check them out in the collection.
Next, we have Stries by Marie Régnier. Marie designed Stries using Fisherman Fingering by Maison Corlène and La Bien Aimée Merino Singles and Mohair Silk. Stries is the perfect hat to practice marling very different colors together. We have put together beautiful bundles that combine Maison Corlène and La Bien Aimée in amazing color combinations!
Feeling excited to try out Stranded Herringbone? Then it is time to reveal our yarn bundles for Yu by Valerie Ng. This beautiful design reimagines the technique of the Herringbone stitch by adding an amazing twist: colorwork! Valerie used Cyrano by De Rerum Natura in Poivre Blanc and created the contrast color by holding two strands of La Bien Aimée Kumo in Dawn and LBA Yellow. We are delighted to offer more color options in these bundles mixing Cyrano and Kumo!
Klänge by Lotta H. Löthgren mixes La Bien Aimée with Lotta's very own brand of hand-dyed yarn, called Sägen. In her version, Lotta used Fe, her luxurious base containing Alpaca, Silk and Cashmere. It is wonderfully soft and perfect for a beautiful scarf. For my own version, I chose to use Elmer Tweed Fingering by Dimond Laine. I love all of her colors, so choosing a limited palette was hard. My team and I have made some beautiful bundles mixing La Bien Aimée and Fe, and LBA and Elmer Tweed. Choose the one that will be perfect for your Klänge.
Finally, the yarn for Confluence will be online too! For her version of Confluence, Caitlyn Turowski chose to use La Bien Aimée Twist Nouveau in Sansa and Mohair Silk in Vespa. I love marling two completely different colors together, it creates a brand new color that is truly unique! The light pink and bright turquoise combine into a mesmerizing effect.
For my version, I chose to use some of the beautiful hand dyed colors dyed by Heather of Earl Grey Fiber Co. Of course, I could not help but marl my two favorite colors, pink and yellow, Meet me Underwater on Darjeeling Sock, and Sunflower on White Peony Mohair. You can shop a select palette of Earl Grey Fibre Co colors to knit Confluence by Caitlyn Turowski during this update.
