Crocheting And Knitting New Designs With La Bien Aimée

Hello knitters!

The last few weeks have been very exciting here in the La Bien Aimée online shop, we've been collaborating with more designers than ever to bring you the designs you can't wait to make in the yarn you can't wait to make it with! In just the last month, we've had so many pattern releases with our yarn, so why don't we take a look back at some of the newest additions to the LBA alumni?

At the end of May we released the third and most vibrant spin of Corrie Confetti Greybow, which was featured in Tif Neilan's newest shawl: Wrapped in Greybow. This stash-buster's dream combines our recycled Corrie Confetti base with contrast stripes of whatever you have in your stash (or, if you just can't help yourself, 5 new colors from our Corrie Worsted base!) Check out Tif's pattern on Ravelry here.

We were also thrilled to see our beloved Corrie Confetti Greybow featured in Maxim Cyr's Wrong Side Sweater, which also uses La Bien Aimée Merino Super Sock held double for the neck and cuff bands. Check out Maxim's Ravelry page here.

Interpretations, the much anticipated collaborative collection by Joji Locatelli and Veera Valimaki launched last week, and we are so honored to have our very own La Bien Aimée Merino Sport featured in the stunning Zeeweg Wrap by Joji. Even though this beautiful 4-color faded butterfly shawl was designed in sport weight yarn, you can easily substtiute for a fingering weight like Merino Super Sock or Cashmerino, where one skein of each color give enough meterage for this pattern. Check out all our different colored bundles here.

Earlier this week, we celebrated Nadia Crétin-Léchenne's birthday with the relase of her birthday shawl: Jump for Joy! This soft and fun striped shawl in La Bien Aimée Cashmerino has proven to be very popular, and we had so much fun imagining all the different color variations that would highlight the ribbing, lace, and bobbles. Check out our favourite pairings here, or choose your own by picking any two colors of our Cashmerino - this pattern only requires one skein of each!

We are excited to congratulate Tanya Cauren on the release of her new crochet pattern "I See Bobbles", a fun and vibrant hat pattern featuring La Bien Aimée's Merino DK in colors Lise and Yellow Brick Road. Not only is this hat a head-turner, it's also versatile, and can be tied shut with a tassel or pulled down to become a cowl! You can find the original colors, plus many more in our Merino DK base here.
